BATS: NATURE’S AMAZING PESTICIIDE

Bats have been found to save the world over 18billion dollars every year.They can eat up to 1,200 insects especially mosquitoes in an hour.

Their droppings are also one of the richest fertilizers in the world and was once the largest mineral export in Texas before oil. Bats also help in the pollination of flowers. 70% of bats consume insects and small bugs while the other 30% consume various types of fruits.These endangered species make up one-quarter of the world’s mammal population and can be found in almost every location in the world. There are 1,200 species of bats worldwide, 40 of which are in the United States. ------Jela
